I rented that house for a year in the early 1990s - 1993 to 1994 I think. The house was enormous and I loved living there but it was just too expensive to live in - that house was poorly insulated and the heating bill one month was $700! I looked at it on Google maps today (Jan 2020) and the whole area is unrecognizable. The house itself still had remnants of the Heintz family (old photo albums, the backroom was set up as a ham radio station and the antenna still stood). There was a workshop next to the house that was a time capsule of ancient machines and electronic equipment. I walked up to the top of the hill on a number of occasions and remembered seeing the foundations of a house but I have no recollection of a miniature railroad. If I had known then it existed, I would have looked much harder! There was a caretaker named Angel - I'm sure he's passed away by now.
